How Being Shut-in During the Pandemic Has Made Me Want To Shout-Out

I’ve always been a quiet writer. The solitude of a desk. The freedom found in an open page and endless ideas. I’ve always had very social jobs so writing has been a way for me to decompress but still express myself. Then COVID-19 happened. I suddenly had a lot of time. The solitude at my desk that I used to thrive-in became more incarceration than the liberation it had always assumed in the past. And a realization….

My quiet writing was not getting me anywhere. It wasn’t doing me or anyone else any good. Then the epiphany: If I had ideas, if I had talent, I should be sharing them and helping others.

It only took a global pandemic to show me this or at least to open my eyes to the possibility. So here it is, my first blog. Not terribly interesting or exciting, but it’s out there…wherever blogs go to meet other blogs.
